Since I get a relatively high number of comments that are tangential to
the articles, I'd like to try to move those parts of the conversation to
the monthly 'Open Thread'.
In short, if you think anything you're going to write is "off topic" to
the current post, but still related to pickup, women, gender politics
and other topics I discuss on this blog, then please leave a comment to
the most recent Open Thread, such like this one. Just post below.
Thank you.
What do you think of the occasional comments by men who claim to have a good job, work out, and check the various boxes but never get anywhere with the babes? I've read comments like this everywhere including on this blog. Most of these commenters get dismissed as somehow not doing something or other and they rarely re-appear.
ReplyDeleteI wonder: There are numerous factors in mating that are hard to assess casually, such as pheromones, body language, language usage. I believe that enough of these reports are real.
I've known people like this and while it's somewhat easy to say, "oh they are doing so and so or it's their attitude" I've often known another guy with virtually exactly the same attitude or quirk and it doesn't stop them.
What's your take on this?
Lack of self esteem, which brings a fear to interpersonal relationships, which brings an incapacity to create friendships and social circles, which brings (guess what?) a low exposition to women. Sure, going to parties and clubs is a way to meet women, but the most easy and non-threatening way to meet women (for sex or a platonic friendship) is by social circles.
DeleteOf course, isn't always this way. Some men just weren't interested in women at their teenage years, so they never had the experiences that other guys have.
In every single situation those men are unrealistic. And by unrealistic, I mean they expect women to be fair and realistic? Did I confuse you yet?
DeleteWhen he lists all these good traits he has, he is wondering how come women aren't showing him interest... not realizing that women only show interest to rockstars and celebrities.
Ask one of these guys "soooo did you ask out 30 women point blank and have them all say 'i'm not interested in going on a date with you'?"
You will find they were standing around waiting for a woman to show super-duper groupie-like enthusiastic interest first.
Obviously its society/feminism's fault for lying to men that they can't show interest first (wait till a woman throws herself at you before making a move).
Manosphere is quickly degenerating into an ugly "1488" Hitler worshiping alternate right cult. Mike Cernovich from Danger and Play, a guy who seemed the more sensible type of the movement, has pretty much blamed the Ukrainian holodomor genocide on JEWS. When, I wonder, will they start to deny the Holocaust?

Mike says he mostly uses twitter for trolling and to drive negative attention his way. So hard to know if that is true, or if he really is a raging brown coat.
DeleteA lot of fans of him probably are sadly enough. (See: https://twitter.com/BlueEagle212/status/652919233853169664 )
Mike also isn't above creatively cropping tweets so they look like they come from the same person and blame him for stuff.
I like some of his writing, but this twitter thing of his is horrible. And according to his own writings, by saying this im now on the side of SJWs. When you look into the abyss...

ReplyDeleteThank you! This is indeed an interesting graphic.
DeleteGlad to help.

Hey, Aaron and Alek, check this out, maybe this could be helpful for both of you.

How do I start a new "thread" for the comments ? I can only respond to existing ones ? That's weird, I have always been able to start a new "thread" in the past.
DeleteAnyway, check this out : https://www.reddit.com/r/relationships/comments/46jxc7/my_32m_girlfriend_31f_of_1_year_just_got_in_an/
Abusive SJW girlfriend tells boyfriend to check his white privileges because he doesn't like rap music. And the dumb fuck feels all guilty and maybe she is right.
If you hit "reply", you'll reply to an existing post. Otherwise, scroll down to "add commment" to start a new discussion. Maybe it's an issue with your browser. It seems to work fine on Firefox.
DeleteShit, the fucker deleted his post and account. Don't know what happened, his gf found out or he felt so guilty for doubting his precious little snowflake.
DeleteSo, I am on firefox and the problem persists. Maybe I will check another browser.
Just wanted to let you know that the problem disappeared without me changing browser.
DeleteJust thought that this study might be of interest.
ReplyDeleteScientific study shows Dispositional Mindulness in Men beats Physical Attraction for Women?
Women were more attracted to men higher in dispositional mindfulness, beyond the effects of physical attractiveness.
Men were more attracted to women who were more physically attractive, but female mindfulness did not influence male initial attraction.
This is the first study to examine the role of dispositional mindfulness in predicting initial romantic attraction.
http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0191886915001336
What is this even supposed to mean, "dispositional mindfulness" ?
DeleteAlmost sounds like a PUA term.
Lol, pua uses strange scientific sounding terms to sound smarter than it is. And now you are confusing science for pua.
DeleteBut, I have no idea what it means. If it is a good paper it is explained in it.
https://www.researchgate.net/publication/273789860_Individual_differences_in_dispositional_mindfulness_and_initial_romantic_attraction_A_speed_dating_experiment this seems to be the full text.
From the paper:
"Mindfulness refers to ‘‘paying attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgementally’’"
They seem to use mindfulness and dispositional mindfulness in the same manner in the article when I skimmed it. Not clear how normal mindfulness and dispositional mindfulness differ/are measured etc. So im going to assume they mean the same.
Basically, women are attracted to men who are more mindfull (as defined above) when speed dating.
Well, no shit... if you pay attention to the other person, the other person might like you. :).
Dispositional mindfulness is defined as someone’s awareness and attention to what they are thinking and feeling in the moment.

Well, no shit... if you pay attention to the other person, the other person might like you. :).
DeleteBut this did not apply to males according to the study.

Thx to some Mangina's site (wehuntedthemammoth.com), I heard of this crazy case in Ontario, Canada:

I wonder if the will bequeathed a scholarship only to <>, the judge would find that discriminatory.
I'm not white so I could care less about money going to those who are white men. It's crazy that the state can tell you where your money can go.
Oh wait, they do that already with retarded taxes (and new ones, like cap n' trade!)
