Did anybody notice that the mainstream media loves to tell us that women well beyond their prime are hot?

Some of the topics I follow in the news, like jihadists killing yet another group of infidels, tend to lead me occasionally to sites like the Daily Mail. There, you get bombarded with "related links" that normally lead to gossip about celebrities, mixed up with acts of terrorism, rape, divorce scandals and whatever else floats the boat of your typical Daily Mail reader.

What I found remarkable, though, is that no matter how old a woman they do an article on is, she is always "gorgeous". This might be an adequate assessment if it's some 20 year-old air head. However, they don't change the wording even when they write on a woman in her 50s. For a case in point, look at the "impressive physique" of this 50-year old named Emma Forbes. It would presumably fall under "fair use" to paste a picture here, but I don't want to expose you to that material without warning. Keep in mind that the other links are even harder to stomach.

It only gets worse. Here are the "impressive curves" of 47 year-old Julia Roberts. I have the suspicion that many more guys would find her former 20 year-old self much more attractive. The Daily Mail moves into downright absurd territory when it celebrates the "rear of the year", by 54 year-old "bombshell" Carol Vorderman. I have never touched the rear of a woman that old. However, if someone did a blind test where random guys had to touch that "rear of the year" and a woman in her 20s who is in decent shape,  in order to determine which one feels better, I suspect the outcome might not be what politically correct feminist writers for trashy tabloids want to hear.

You look at this stuff and wonder if you're browsing a spoof of a tabloid web site that replaces every picture of a young, hot female by one showing a woman close to retirement age. Of course, the problem is not not age per se. We are all going to age, and eventually die. However, I find it more than dubious that there are websites out there that claim that those women who are well past their prime are sexually desirable, when they are clearly not. The entire (biological) point of having sex is procreation. Those women can no longer have offspring, and thus nature saw it fit to arrange that they are much less appealing than they would have been 30 years ago. This is a fact of life, and no feverish feminist reporter will change anything about it.

  1. But AS, you are wrong, because according to this dude, older women are like aged single malt scotch! The article and comments are self-delusional: http://www.therulesrevisited.com/2015/09/older-women-can-still-be-sexy.html

    1. Re therulesrevisited: A website with a sub-page stating that "The More Confident He Is, The Less He Likes You " can't be taken seriously anyway.

  3. Lately i've been sleeping with a few, in shape, 40 year olds. i've enjoyed the sex much better than women in their 20's - for the most part.

    3. @ Anon: Dude, Women +30 are overall easier to lay, because they cannot afford to play the whorish girly little games with men anymore. Also, they much more urgently are gonna rely on a provider guy, so they will more or less take whatever male material fitting their basic laundry list is about to cross their path.

Inherent issue here, though: since they're desperately trying to reel a guy & his assets in via easier access to sex, if said guys do continue to pump and dump her, she just might be much more inclined to file for a false rape accusation to succeed with her biologically programmed plan and puni$h the guy for trying to implement HIS own biological programming. See, it’s becasue she’s a perpetual victim, ya know?

So if 40s women are hot, in shape and somewhat competent/inhibited in the sack… yeah, why not banging them as well now and then? Since my personal predisposition tilts much more towards 18-25yo supermodel/bond girls, I won't object/mind anyway.

  4. For deep personal reasons, I'm often skeptical when I read negative statements about the state of any institution in the Western world. But, holy cow! those Daily Mail links have blew my mind! I can't understand how the editor let those unintentionally sarcastic titles get published.

Of course there might be a market demand to publish news that are appealing to the ego of older women. However, to write ludicrous titles like those ones is a very unethical practice. It's as misleading as the regular PUA selling of you-can-be-a-fat-ugly-poor-awkward-seducer products.

  5. Feminists just don't like that men have preferences independent of what women think. That's the same thing with the fat acceptance movement. That's why unattractive women they don't like fetish. If you think about it a fetish is just like the normal preference but different (like fat or old or hairy, etc..)instead of thin or young or shaved.

The trend you describe is just like affirmative action for women on the dating market. If men started to see women in their 40 or 50 as more desirable there would be women calling out young perverts and telling them to get a woman their age. there would also be women complaining it's unjust women have to wait before getting male attention and things like that.

And I'm not against older women getting hot sex or something. I like older women and my best sex was with a woman 10 years older than me. I just understand that it's stupid to try to impose preferences on other peoples.

  6. A large component of the Daily Mail's readership is probably women over age 40, so it is probably not a good business decision to exclusively focus on the hot 20 year olds. It would also make sense to characterize a lot of the older women as attractive. In fairness, the examples look ok for their age, compared to the general population, but there is a reason why Victoria Secret models are not in their 50s.

  7. People these days are so enamored with fantasy, delusion, and illusion, but especially the celeb sites who are paid by celebs to photograph and give positive image reports. It's like paying for likes on a facebook selfie. The current feminist movement seems to rely solely on crowd-think, that if you say something in as bitchy a manner as possible, people will just go with it and parrot it. It's certainly working on other feminists.

  8. It's possible, though rare, for an older woman to be legitimately hot. Few have the discipline to pull it off. It requires an extremely healthy lifestyle (that includes not laying out, for sure no smoking, and no more than exceptionally moderate alcohol usage) and generally never having had kids.

I think Alley Mills is one of few who qualifies, Sandra Bullock too.

  9. Hallo Aaron,

I have bought and read your book "Minimalgame" some days ago. All sounds very logic but one thing I do not understand. You say, if I interact with a "yes"girl than I how just to escale psyicaly (touching, handholding, kissing, space invasion) and that it. But what about the so calles "grey zone"-girls. How to deal with them? The same way?

  11. This mainly applies to white people who age in warp speed compared to people of colour (due to their lack of melanin). White men and women reach a certain age (around the age of 25), then their looks decline drastically. Like Prince William... reached his mid-20s and started balding and getting wrinkles. Now he is in his early 30s and looks 50. And his wife doesn't look much better. They look like a middle-aged couple. I'm looking at all these young 20 and 30-something men and women and they have crows feet...

    1. You must be living in a parallel universe. Black women tend to bloat much sooner than their white counterparts, and black men are not immune to aging either.
